Employee Spotlight | Shawn Randall

Meet Shawn Randall, a Senior Project Manager in our Charlotte Office.

If you could have lunch with anyone who has ever lived, who would it be?
“My Grandfather who passed away before I was born. He was a WWII veteran and cattle farmer/welder.”

What about your job gets you excited to go to work every day?
“Being able to see tangible evidence of the project teams’ hard work pay off.  The job is never mundane; you have to wear different hats and interact with many different personalities.”

It’s the weekend; what are you doing to relax?
“Spending time with my Wife and Daughter as well as working on home projects.”

What team are you cheering for?
“Panther Nation – KEEP POUNDING!”

What was your favorite project you have been a part of?
“It was my very first project, two schools being constructed simultaneously that were directly adjacent to one another.  I was in the field full time and absorbed a ton of knowledge from two great Superintendents that took the time to mentor me while I tested their patience.”

What is your favorite part about working for Shelco?
“I’ve been fortunate that this is the only company I’ve worked for in my career and have great teammates who have mentored me all the while given me the freedom & flexibility to complete my responsibilities.”

“As indicated to Shelco many times, the construction of the parking facility at the Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport was a “treat” mostly because your company was one of the easiest to work with that we have ever experienced. The manner in which your personnel worked with us as a team is not often encountered.”
