High Point University Athletic Performance Center Grand Opening

The High Point University Witcher Athletic Performance Center grand opening was held September 9, 2014. The completion of this impressive 36,000 SF facility continues Shelco’s longstanding relationship with High Point University. The new Athletic Performance Center, designed by Betsch Associates Architect, features attractive, timeless Georgian-style exterior architecture with a signature cupola that blends in with the existing campus architecture. It is the new home for the men’s and women’s soccer and lacrosse teams.

The facility includes a 105-seat academic center and state-of-the-art athletic training rooms available to all student athletes. It includes locker rooms as well as offices for coaches and support staff. An impressive hospitality suite overlooks Vert Stadium from the third floor. A first-class media and video production areas are located on the second floor.
