Corvid Headquarters awarded top honor from Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA)

The James S. Cogswell Award is the most prestigious honor the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) can bestow to cleared industry.  After a review of 12,500 facilities, Corvid’s Mooresville, NC facility was 1 of 40 facilities to win the 2021 Cogswell Award. DCSA collaborates with each branch of the Department of Defense to determine the award winners, and only the companies with a security culture that transcends across all levels of the business and facility are eligible.

Congratulations Corvid and the other 2021 Award Winners:

“Our first step toward the Cogswell Award began with hiring Shelco to construct our 88,000 SF corporate headquarters.  Shelco did an outstanding job keeping the project running smoothly with a high attention to detail.  They constructed the project in strict compliance with all Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) and the Department of Defense (DoD) security regulations.  Thank you Shelco for helping us achieve this prestigious award.”
Mr. Ted Berna, Chief Finical Officer of Corvid

Cogswell Award

“As indicated to Shelco many times, the construction of the parking facility at the Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport was a “treat” mostly because your company was one of the easiest to work with that we have ever experienced. The manner in which your personnel worked with us as a team is not often encountered.”
